Chairman of Google, Schmidt Eric was in Lagos last week. Schmidt Eric made a courtesy call to Lagos State Governor Babatunde Fashola accompanied by Google Ideas Director, Mr. Jared Cohen & Country Manager, Google Nigeria, Miss. Juliet Chiazor Ehimuan amongst others to discuss the use of information and communications technology to drive growth in various sectors of the Nigerian economy.
Governor Fashola was accompanied by member’s of his cabinet; The Lagos State Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, Dr Obafemi Hamzat,The Commissioner for Science & Technology Mr Adebiyi Mabadeje.
