Whitney Houston With Documentary As Singer Is Immortalized With Wax Statues

Whitney Elizabeth Houston the singer,producer who died at the age of 48 on February 11, 2012.She was found dead upstairsat her Beverly Hilton Hotel room.And to celebrate her life andlegacy, The Grammy committee has decided to include an hour-long special called “The Grammys Will Go On: A Death in the Family,” which will air Thursday Feb. 9, the day before the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles.

In a related development, MadameTussaud’s Wax Museum is unveiling a new set of wax statues created in honor and memory of the late popstar. The Madame Tussaud’s museums in Washington DC,Hollywood, Las Vegas and NYC are all getting a different wax likeness of Whitney with each statue (above) looking incredibly lifelike.

These new statues pay homage toSuper Bowl ’91, I Wanna Dance With Somebody, The Bodyguard and I Look To You.
