Albert Chinụalụmọgụ Achebe popularly known as Chinua Achebe, one of the world’s most celebrated writers and author of the classic novel Things Fall Apart, is dead. He died last night in a hospital in Boston, Massachusetts at the age of 82 .Professor Achebe had been sick for some time.
He was a Nigerian novelist , poet , professor , and critic . He is best known for his f novels Things Fall Apart in 1958, which is the most widely read book in modern African literature .
His last book, There Was A Country: A Personal History of Biafra, is still making waves.
